Greetings from the East

Greetings from the East Brethren,

What a busy month of May it was! It started May 5th with our yearly Masonic Temple open house. Considering that there was practically no advertising, we had a good showing. This event is a way for our community to get to know us better and thanks to Worshipful Br. Jim Lee, for us to explain what and how important the charities of our different bodies are and how we help those in need, especially children. Thank you again Br. Jim for your outstanding contribution and dedication and thank you to all who assisted with the very special event!
May 19th, with Corinne Lodge #5, Golden Spike Lodge #6 , Harmony Lodge #21, and Amity Lodge #23, we received Most Worshipful Brother Lorenzo E. Tibbitts and the Grand Lodge Officers for the annual Grand Lodge Visitation. This was a day full of instructions and good and candid conversation that brought us closer together as a fraternity. As Right Worshipful Brother Jeff Hamilton implied, let's take care of our fraternity and make it stronger so that we can continue our work for generations to come. This week, May 30th will be our Masonic Family dinner. This is a time we will cherish with friends and family. Stories will be told and I am sure that we will have some laughs...

June is here and so is summer. We have scheduled a Fellow Craft degree for June 20th and then will go dark until September. We all could use a break so summer is just what we need. Our recently raised Master Masons have also started to study and will take part in the ceremonies and ritual work very soon. Their participation will be most noticeable when we resume our work.

50 year pin presentation

We will be presenting Brother Richard J. Nusink with his 50 year pin and certificate at our regular business meeting on June 6th.  Join us as we recognize him and congratulate him on his 50 years of service in Masonry.

Fraternally,

Jean-Marie H. Pijuan
Worshipful Master

From the Secretary’s desk

Brethren, we always like to know how you are doing or if you are having health problems.  We have cards to send to members if you are not feeling well or having surgery.  Keep us posted by calling or emailing me.

We still have a few members that owe dues for 2018.  Please send your check to our PO Box.

Fraternally,

David W. Barron
PGM – Secretary
